More Info » View All » Getting Started Who We Are Steps to Service Your Application ABWE stands for the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. ABWE is a distinctively Baptist mission agency with influence in over 85 countries around the world. We seek to evangelize and disciple in order to see lives changed and churches established. Through church planting we hope to launch multiplying missions movements that ultimately bring God glory. Though our primary goal is to establish local churches, we do this in variety of ways using a variety of methods. We seize opportunities to use medicine, aviation, teaching, compassion ministries, business, administration, and really just about anything to advance the Kingdom of God as we establish local church based bodies of believers. We desire to know your heart and assist you in reaching your calling whether that be as a career missionary with ABWE or in a short-term capacity. All applicants with ABWE go through an application process that helps us and you determine the best placement based upon your desires, spiritual gifts, abilities, and the needs of our different fields.
